The Brooks-Crenshaw Trilogy (The Wedding)
Back together yet again! We are family now! This time, we meet at the beautiful Kress Terrace in Greensboro, NC. It is 4:00PM and we still do not know if the weather will permit an outside wedding! I am joined by my oldest daughter, Sydney a naturally talented and gifted photographer, who is my second shooter for this occasion. Jocelyn, my intuitive right hand (even though she's a leftie), is here with me in her third appearance in this trilogy! This is going to be a great day!
Brittany, the nervous, and beautiful bride is getting dressed, the bridesmaids are primping, and Omar and the groomsmen, most of whom I discovered are my Fraternity Brothers, are a pinning away from ready.
For the past several minutes Sydney and I have been capturing the mood of the venue. The flowers, the table settings, guests arriving, the wedding cake, and small peeks of the bride herself.
The moms are here, being "strong" and awaiting this next chapter in their children's lives.
Finally, the word from the wedding director; forecasts show that we are a Go for an outdoor ceremony!
Sydney and I separate as I head to another location with the groomsmen. Omar appears cool, confident, and ready. His fellas have his back.
When I return to the main venue, Sydney has captured some memories with the grandparents and bride. That's my girl!!!
6:30 is fast approaching and the director has everyone on their mark, on time. Jocelyn is ready with Brittany's bridal session choice, a 16x24 Gallery Wrap bridal image will she will hang over the head table after the bride walks down the isle. The guests have arrived and are seated. Sydney, Jocelyn, and I are in the zone. Here comes the bride...............................
